Battlestar Galactica Returns

I love the new Battlestar Galactica series on the Sci Fi Channel. Ronald D. Moore has taken a good, but dated TV series (I’m talking about the original Battlestar Galactica, folks) and made it into something great. As previously reported, the upcoming season, season three, is to be the last of the Sci Fe produced Battlestar Galactica episodes. This is unfortunate, but at least the series is going out on a high note. So what is this talk about a new Battlestar Galactica movie? Well, I’m glad you asked…
The third and final series kicks off on November 24th at 8pm CST on the Sci Fi channel with a two hour movie event entitled Battlestar Galactica: Razor. This series reportedly is set just before the Cyclon attack on the colonies and features Admiral Cain and the crew of the Battlestar Pegasus. These events are allegedly supposed to be tied to and lead directly into the third season.
Battlestar Galactica: Razor will also be released as a unrated and extended edition DVD on December 4th (just in time for Christmas, Santa Claus!). The Sci Fi Channel is also running a promotion to vote on the DVD cover. After voting, you’re given access to a 1 minute 45 second clip from the movie. Click here to vote. I voted for cover “B”. Personally, I think they should just stick Caprica Six on the cover and leave it at that, but I guess I’m not running the show at Sci Fi.
In a related article, Bear McCreary, the composer of the new Battlestar Galactica, is putting the final touches on the Season Three Soundtrack. On his blog, Bear reports that the upcoming soundtrack will include the Cyclon basestar piano solo and the much anticipated reworking of All Along the Watchtower. The Season Three Soundtrack of Battlestar Galactica is expected to be released sometime in October.

I agree, I have orderd all the boxes as Swedens TV1 is on the first season

@ Örjan - Good to hear from you again, Örjan!
I didn’t realize that Sweden was still on the first season. That’s strange, because I remember that the UK was ahead of the States for a while, when Battlestar Galactica first debuted. Some of the episodes from that first season are classics. I can’t wait to see what the final season has in store for us.
My question to you is - how do you keep from reading all the spoilers for future episodes? That’s gotta be tough!
