Another Wordpress Upgrade

I recently upgrade my Wordpress implementation to version 2.2.1 on September 6th, 2007. Shortly after going to version 2.2.1, Wordpress version 2.2.2 was released. I have no idea if it was really necessary to upgrade to version 2.2.2, but I once had a RedHat Linux installation rootkitted when I failed to keep it properly patched. Since then, I usually err on the side of caution when it comes to server maintenance. Luckily, my hosting provider, AN Hosting, provides Fantastico scripts. Fantastico makes the upgrade easy and painless. Why not upgrade?
I used the same upgrade procedure as before, which I outlined here. If anyone out there is wrestling with the question of how to upgrade, feel free to drop me a line and I’ll do my best to answer your question.
