Free DVD Rental from Redbox
By Michael Lundberg | October 7, 2007
Now, if my previous post about TiVo and Amazon Unbox and their $0.99 digital movie rentals wasn’t cheap enough for you, I’ve got something just a tad bit better. How about a free DVD rental? Now folks, this is a little old school - you’ll need to go to the nearest Redbox location and pick up the movie and then return it after you’re done. It’s nothing as fancy as the whole TiVo and Amazon Unbox stuff is, but hey - free is free is me, right? Right.
I’ve had good success renting movies from Redbox, but their selection can get pretty slim on the weekends. One way to get around that is to select and rent your movie online before you go to pick it up. You can do that by going here.
Oh yeah, nothing is free - this “free” rental will cost you your email address, but it’s a small price to pay when you’re cheap and pinnning for a movie rental. For a free DVD rental, go here.
