Perficient: another acquisition and a video

By Michael Lundberg | November 25, 2007

Perficient LogoLast Friday, November 23rd, Perficient (where I work) announced yet another acquisition. This time, it was a company named ePairs. According to the press release, ePairs specializes in Oracle-Siebel CRM solutions. They also have an India-based recruiting center for H1B. The press release is included below:

Perficient Buys EPairs Business Consulting and Recruiting Firm for $5 Million in Cash, Stock

AUSTIN, Tx (AP) — Technology consulting company Perficient Inc. said Friday it purchased California business consulting firm ePairs Inc. for $5 million in cash and stock.

ePairs primarily advises on use of Oracle-Siebel’s customer relationship management system. It also runs a recruiting center in Chennai, India and has about $6 million in annual revenue, according to Perficient.

The $5 million purchase price included $2.5 million in cash and about $2.5 million in Perficient stock.

Perficient said that the acquisition will increase its annual revenue to nearly $250 million and immediately add to earnings per share.

“This transaction also continues to build our strong foreign national H-1B consulting staff and brings opportunities to scale via our new recruiting office in Chennai, India,” said Jack McDonald, Perficient chairman and chief executive.

We’ve (and by “we”, I mean Perficient) had a great track record of acquiring good information technology services companies, and while I won’t know anything about this purchase until Monday, I’m sure this will be another great addition to our company.

Also, I noticed this link, which is a WMV video highlighting one of our (there I go again) success stories in creating a world-class a service oriented architecture solution for a Fortune 500 company.
