WeeWar wins some awards!

By Michael Lundberg | February 20, 2008

WeeWar logoI’ve mentioned WeeWar in the past (here and here, not to mention it’s in the top right-hand corner of every page). If you’ve never heard of or played WeeWar, stop what your doing (well, finish reading this, first) and head over to www.weewar.com and try out a game. Once you play it, I guaranty that you’ll fall in love with it.

Well, it turns out that I’m not the only WeeWar fan out there. Galaxy-news just announced their Browser Game of the Year 2007 Winners. Not surprisingly, WeeWar took home awards for:

To summarize, WeeWar is a great Web 2.o style game that has no plug-in requirements and is free. The game play is turn based, and it only takes a couple of minutes to play. If you’ve ever played Axis and Allies or Risk as a kid (or adult), you’ll be right at home with WeeWar.

You can find me on WeeWar here.
