The Foot Fist Way

Believe it or not, I can’t even remember how I found this video. I think I was looking at someone’s blog, which led to a link, which led to site, that didn’t have anything interesting, but somewhere, tucked on the second page was this video. I also have no idea who Adam McKay is (watch it, he’s referenced in the video), but he’s the co-writer and director of both Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy and Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. If you’ve never heard of those movies, I suggest you stop reading this right now and run to your nearest Best Buy (I’m a stockholder) and purchase a copy.
Knowing Will Ferrell and Adam McKay, it’s hard to know if The Foot Fist Way is just supposed to look low budget or if it really is low budget, but it looks funny. The tag line says it all: “The story of a man who teaches people how to kick other people in the face.” The movie comes out on May 30th. Watch it.
My favorite line from the trailer is from “King of the Demo” Fred Simmons: “I don’t think you’re going to like how this ends, hotshot.” And “Is she still alive?” I hope the movie is as good as the trailer.For fans of “red-band” trailers, you can find it at the official website: http://www.thefootfistway.com/
