Lifeguard takes a bathroom break

This is a classic video from the Jamie Kennedy experiment. The video caption says, “This lifeguard is concerned enough for people’s safety to ask people to leave the pool while he takes a break.” Yeah, right.
I’d like to know exactly how these clips are staged. You would assume that the producers have rented out a pool somewhere, but what hotel in their right mind would allow the lifeguard to fake relieving himself in the pool? You would assume that at some point, the producers would let the hotel guests realize that it was all a prank. I’d like to see some video of their explanation and the crowd’s reaction. Kennedy’s lucky that someone doesn’t through a bottle at his head for pulling that stunt.
