The Promotion Trailer
By Michael Lundberg | June 12, 2008
John C. Reilly rocks rawks. He’s pure comic genius. I never went to go see “Walk Hard, the Dewey Cox Story”, but Talladega Nights was (is) a classic and let’s not forget Boogie Nights (though that’s not exactly a comedy. Just taking a quick peak at his IMDB bio, it’s easy to forget that he did an impressive stint of serious movies (The Hours, Chicago, and Gangs of New York) before switching into comedy for the last couple of years. The Promotion costars Seann William Scott. Scott can be funny, but let’s be honest, he’s sorta been typecast as the “Dude Where’s My Car” guy - at least in my mind.
The movie poster pretty much sums up the movie: two assistant store managers at Donaldson’s Grocery vie for a promotion to take over a new store location. Hilarity ensues.
The preview for The Promotion looks good and at least one review says the movie is good. Check it out:
